Math Kangaroo in USA, NFP, a not-for-profit organization located in Lisle, IL and operated by mathematicians - volunteers, invites students from all ethnic groups and from different types of schools, grades 2 through 12, to the International Mathematical Competition Math Kangaroo 2006, which will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2006, in the evening in your area. All locations in USA are listed on www.mathkangaroo.org. The competition takes place in several countries on the same day. We award all American participants. There is $100 gift card for the first place winners at each grade level and other prizes for other participants in USA. For those who are placed on the top places for several years special prizes are awarded and some college grants among them (earlier participation in other countries matters). Math Kangaroo shows importance of mathematics understanding and its beauty to millions students world wide. American students can be registered on www.mathkangaroo.org or by mail with our flier by January 15, 2006. The participation fee is $20. Please register early - in some locations space is limited.
