Math Kangaroo Teams at
Sobieski School

We
would like to invite elementary and high school students to take advantage of
math workshops at Sobieski School. The school has been holding Kangaroo Math Teams for the last several
years. Everybody interested is welcome to sign up for “Kangaroo” classes in new
2005/2006 school year. The patronage of the program is provided by Math Kangaroo in USA,
NFP, a not-for-profit educational organization, which is helped by
volunteers, including math teachers from

Kangaroo program is welcome to go on line at www.mathkangaroo.org. On the website, you will find problems from the
last four years of the competition as well as free on-line help with solving
them. Also, you can learn the history of Math
Kangaroo Competition and the importance of the participation in this event
for your children school success. In addition, on the website, there are some
other links to various math sites.
Students of our school have participated in the competition for the last
eight years. You can see the scores and the pictures of the winners on Math Kangaroo webpage.
Sobieski School offers Math Kangaroo
workshops for different age groups for elementary and high school students.
Classes are hold on weekends and in evenings during a week. To learn more about
the schedule of the classes, please call school office at 773-777-2223.
