Presenters: Grazyna Zmyslowski (Math Kangaroo advocate and Taft HS teacher), Joanna Lasek (math teacher, tutor, CIO of Math Kangaroo in USA, NFP, Inc.), Margaret Niedziela (Taft HS teacher).

 "Math Kangaroo" web site was presented - www.mathkangaroo.org - as resource useful in everyday mathematics teaching.

Teachers were introduced to math problems from International Mathematical Competition "Math Kangaroo". They were encouraged to enrich their teaching by including more word problems in they work with students in the classroom. All were invited to involve their students into "Math Kangaroo" experience.

This presentation resulted in several dozens of CPS students participating in "Math Kangaroo 2007" competition. Northside College Preparatory hosted the event for the first time and 33 students participated!
